wow, time passes

Is it really almost a year? Wow, I guess so. My nephew Alex is now back from Taiwan, so I don't know if his blog (see links on right of page) is worth visiting. On the other hand, I found a cool blog while looking around Facebook at random: check out the one about missing cameras. People post images from memory cards, disposable cameras, photos, etc. they have found, hoping to reunite owner and image. Fun to browse through, and nice to know it's out there: just this week I left my camera in a property I was viewing with my realtor, and didn't know I'd left it there until I came back the next day for a second look!

vacation over! back to work!

I've been back at work a week now, after a lovely trip to Wisconsin (see some photos of the trip here: http://picasaweb.google.com/SpiritHillWoodworks/JimCarlAndJeffVisitWisconsin Since I have a finite, actually tiny, amount of vacation time available annually, I'm torn between using it up with a few long weekends up there alone to do work, or saving up for an entire year so I can be up there for 2 weeks. At least I have options!
